“I think being a stay-at-home Mum is a mixture of hardship and blessing. It can be hard to maintain a sense of self worth when you are caught up in the day-to-day struggles of sleep deprivation, sticky floors and endless loads of washing. However it is full of beautiful moments too, as you watch your kids grow, learn, interact with each other and change into person God has made them to be. I count it as a real undeserved privilege to be a Mum and it is something I don’t take for granted. We don’t know what the future holds, so I treasure whatever time I do have with my family. That’s why I want those everyday activities captured, because it is what makes up our life at this point in time.”
{To explain the last 3 photos: these guys are old friends of ours (I have known Liz since we were babies!) so it was super lovely to have my family come along at the end and all have lunch together – the kids loved playing together and we decided we’ll do it again some time soon!}
